Mark Zivin

Mark Zivin is a founding principal of BPS who co-manages the firm with partner Marc Moskowitz.

Zivin has managed and overseen literally hundreds of business solution implementations with a particular strengths in assisting project-oriented businesses and business with complex financial accounting technology and integration challenges.

After spending several years as a Chase Manhattan financial consultant and entrepreneur, Zivin joined the Chicago accounting firm of Morrison and Morrison in 1981.

An early information technology expert, Zivin helped lead Morrison and Morrison's growing technology unit before helping to spinoff BPS as a separate entity in 1994.

He has won Accounting Today magazine's "Technology Pacesetter" award on several occasions. Zivin has earned the highest level certifications awarded by Business Objects and by Microsoft for Microsoft Business Solutions and FRx.

Zivin received a Bachelor's Degree in Religion in 1973 from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut before earning an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1975. He received his CPA certification in 1976.
